Accommodation on a New Level

Today, the focus of the hospitality industry goes beyond comfort. It lies in making the hotel, in and of itself, a destination.

Hotels with unique service offerings have always stood out when choosing accommodations. Immersive experiences, however, take lodging to another level: art, music and even gastronomy can transform a simple stay into a memorable experience.

The Rocco Forte Hotels, with properties in countries such as Italy, England and Germany, offers exclusive experiences for guests who choose to stay in its “Signature Suite.” The group provides the so-called “musical room service,” where the meal is served in your own accommodation accompanied by musicians for a cozy, exclusive performance. Performances vary by hotel and may include funky jazz bands, opera and more.

The Hotel Rosewood São Paulo, located in São Paulo, Brazil, also stands out for providing immersive experiences. Voted the best hotel in South America by The World’s Best Hotels, it offers a private tour of its collection of more than 450 works by 57 Brazilian artists. The exclusive activity is led by an “art concierge,” Osvaldo Costa, one of the only professionals worldwide to hold the title. The immersion spans the lobby, corridors, elevators and restaurants, all the way to the Bela Vista rooftop, with a privileged view of the city center.

The Six Senses Hotels, located in various parts of the world, offer gastronomic experiences known as “farm-to-table.” These are based on guests’ participation in food preparation from harvest onward. At the Lamego property in Portugal, which highlights wine as the hotel’s focus, guests can take part in the harvest, stomp grapes and follow the process of producing Port wine during September and October, the grape harvest season.

At the Six Senses Ibiza, the “eat with six senses” concept, which views nutrition as essential to well-being, is put into practice. The ingredients used are natural, and fruits and vegetables can be handled by guests from the moment of harvest, creating a rich experience.

The goal of all these spaces is simple: to connect the guest with different cultures, creating unique experiences and making that moment unforgettable. More than just a stay, they transcend conventional lodging, redefining what was once defined as the concept of travel.
