Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is bringing its signature Italian sophistication to the Maldives with the forthcoming Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi, a secluded retreat set within the Raa Atoll of the Maldives.
Named “Little Gold Island” in the Maldivian language, Ranfushi will occupy nearly 50 acres surrounded by pristine waters and lush, landscaped gardens. Scheduled to open in 2026, the resort will become the tenth jewel in Bvlgari’s growing hospitality collection.
Designed by Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the property will bring the contemporary Italian aesthetic synonymous with Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts to the Maldives. Sustainability will also remain central to the resort’s development, including a dedicated new island designed to support nesting bird populations.
The resort will comprise 54 keys, including an exclusive Bvlgari Villa on its own island, 33 Beach Villas with private swimming pools, and 20 Overwater Villas. The experience will extend well beyond the accommodations, with four distinct dining concepts, including Il Ristorante Niko Romito, Bao Li Xuan, Hōseki, and the beachfront La Spiaggia.

Guests will also have access to a Bvlgari Bar, Bvlgari Spa, fitness center, yoga pavilion, private library, and La Galleria, a curated concept store featuring niche creations from international designers.
For Bvlgari, Ranfushi represents another expression of the house’s enduring approach to hospitality: distinctive locations, Italian design, exceptional cuisine, and meticulous attention to detail. The result is poised to bring the world of Bvlgari to one of the Maldives’ most exclusive settings.
“We are convinced that this new gem of hospitality addition will ensure once again the highest levels of quality and innovation to our international customers and we look forward to sharing with them the Bvlgari values in hospitality at this new, very exclusive location.” — Bvlgari ’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin
