The Nile has carried travelers through Egypt for thousands of years, and now AmaWaterways is introducing a new way to experience it. AmaNubia will arrive on the Nile in September 2026, offering an intimate setting designed around comfort, regional character, and the landscapes beyond the ship.

At 236 feet long, AmaNubia accommodates just 76 guests across 38 staterooms, including 15 suites. The ship combines Egyptian-inspired décor with modern comforts, creating a refined base for exploring some of the country’s most enduring landmarks.

Every stateroom features a French balcony, giving guests a private way to take in the river views, while the larger suites add separate sitting areas, upgraded amenities, and enhanced bathrooms. The Owner’s Suite measures 525 square feet, while the Grand Suite offers 430 square feet of space.

Life onboard is designed to balance exploration with time to slow down. Guests can relax on the Sun Deck, where a swimming pool and bar overlook the Nile, or visit the spa and fitness room on the Lily Deck. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship, while attentive service adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

Dining is another part of the experience. Journeys Restaurant combines Western classics with Egyptian and Middle Eastern flavors, while The Chef’s Table offers a multi-course tasting menu for a more intimate evening. AmaNubia also features a private dining room and a Deck Club for guests to enjoy during their journey.

The experience extends beyond the ship. An onboard Egyptologist will help guests understand the history and destinations along the route, while excursions bring travelers closer to Egypt’s temples, tombs, markets, and historic landmarks.

AmaNubia’s featured Secrets of Egypt & the Nile itinerary offers 11 nights of exploration, combining the river journey with time in Cairo.

For travelers looking to experience Egypt beyond the usual itinerary, AmaNubia offers a more intimate way to follow the Nile, one that pairs the country’s ancient wonders with the comfort of a contemporary river ship.
